INDIANA JEF AND THE QUEST FOR THE PART-TIME JOB.

Went jobhunting with Kar Wai today.

Our criteria:

Must be located in a ulu ulu place,

therefore very few customers.

Must be easy and if possible, fun.

Can fit our school schedules.

Reasonable pay rate.

First stop, Bugis Virtualand, because its the main branch for Virtualand.

But their part time jobs were all snapped up.

Then KW said lets go Parkway Parade there maybe got jobs.

So took 197 to PP.

Don't like to be Cold Storage cashier there, so many people, so kept walking.

Gramophone got immediate slot but need email resume... how to do resume? Dammit.

Time Zone arcade got part time slot, its $3.50 an hour but I don't really mind because the arcade so ulu like got no people go there only little kids.

Only thing is they want morning shift people and I sure cannot fit in with school schedule when the new term starts because its 11am-5pm and they need long term staff >8(

After walking around PP,

went next door to the big Popular store across the street but no job ads there.

So teleported ourselves to the nearby NTUC,

and there's a "RETAIL ASSISTANT" wanted,

but we were like, "WTF does a retail assistant do?"

So we asked this auntie employee how to get a job,

and she brought us to the office door, but need press a doorbell button.

After like 2min of pressing,

she said now 6pm maybe the admin out for dinner, and to come back another day.

So she left. And we left.

Then we saw a guy came out from the door,

looking like "who da fuck pressed me doorbellz >8( pcb"

then he took a fruit and started peeling it, I assuemd it was his snack.

So we went WTF? and we left the place.

Running out of locations,

we tried Roxy Square, and then Katong SC.

Got one lanshop got put job ad, but it was taken already by the time I asked.

The rest of the lanshops bo ads T_T

So crossed over to Katong Mall, but there's only a Cold Storage there.

In the end we spotted a midnight stackers wanted at Cold Storage,

but the stupid useless old man that picked up the phone said his boss not in,

so cannot really apply now, and that only 1 vacancy left.
